Licenciado en Economía Política, dedicó sus labores al periodismo de su país, al cual sirvió hasta el término de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, experiencia tras la cual viajó a Chile. En este país, trabajó en la Universidad Católica de Santiago desde 1957 hasta 1959. Posteriormente, dictó clases de alemán e Historia de la Cultura en la Universidad Austral de Chile hasta 1979. Sus obras en Chile están dedicadas a la labor de los inmigrantes croatas en este país y sus descendientes, tales como Rajmund Kupareo, Lily Garafulic y Agata Gligo. Falleció en Santiago de Chile el año 1985.
